In the wee morning of Sunday 21st Feb 2010, I felt like sh*tting and went to the toilet... Cant sh*t but pee-ed and found spot of blood... So I was deciding whether or not to let darling know about it... Confirmed that I was due as my water bag burst-felt myself leaking a little...
at 5.30am, after I've bathed and drink some milo made by my mother-in-law, we left the house to Gleneagles... At the delivery ward, there came the contractions and it was more frequent like intervals of 1-2 mins... I didn't scream but "moan" softly on pain... LOL... then the midwife came in with a piece of paper and asked me if I wanted epidural... They pyscho-ed me into signing it... Also, it was darling who asked me to take the injection too, hearing that once the induction takes place, it would be extremely painful... Well, I took it with darling signing the papers for me as I'm under 21 yrs... LOL...
In between, before the anesthetic doctor came, my gynae checked for my dilation and said 4-5cm dilated... yah... he put his protected hand deep inside ME...
Waited damn long for the anesthetic doc and he came in only at 9am and both the doc and mid wife told me to curl up which was a torture... I couldn't breathe properly and felt like I was lacking of oxygen...Breathing was hard and I felt faint while they were injecting my spine with a few needles...
Ok, so after that, the mid-wife put me on drip (to induce me) and 10mins into the epidural, I felt numb from waist down... no contractions, nothing... legs felt numb too... Then, I felt that I was shitting but actually when the mid-wife checked I wasn't but she told me that I was ready to give birth when she stucked her hands down there again... doctor Peter Chew came in shortly after...
I still can remember the whole room was asking me to push "like im shitting"... Ok... theyt said "push" for 5-6 times and there...
10.19am... Little chong was born into the world... =)
13 days from his birth, baby has grown slightly in height and probably heavier... As parents, we think that he's much stronger than normal babies and more alert... Chong attributed that to his genes while I think the supplements that I've been taking since pregnancy was also the "mastermind"...
Whereas for me, I am feeling much better from the pain and soars from my back, butt and down there... The stitches were SOARING like mad and I couldn't sleep well for the previous few nights due to baby cries for milk and the pain...
