Met Ain today and she said that I've slimmed down. She said that previously my face looked chubbier than now. LOl. Ok, but there isn't a drastic weight loss... Just fats off my cheeks. -0-
After we KFC-ed, my mum called us to meet her, sister and yiern to Party world. We sang our lungs out from 3.30pm to 7.30pm. This time, we felt that the time past really fast. Maybe there were more people around to snatch the mike. LOl.
Basking with her tmr at Sentosa beach after my sch(dunno whether we still can go in becuz there'll be a party at night). Yippeee!!! Hopefully we still can get our butts in! hahahhahahaha.

Chong and my brother wanted to wish me happy birthday when my laptop time strikes 2400 or 0000. LOl. But while we were playing word challenge, they totally forgotten about it and I had to remind them it's 1 minute past 12am. LOl. Then my brother went to his room and got me my present which he got from his work place. LOl. Chong sang burfdae song for me (my brother sang halfway. LOl) Thanks. =)

Ok then, this morning woke up, received msges from numbers I dunno wishing me happy birthday. Ok, happy that they rmbed my birthday. LOl. But they must feel sad if I asked them who they are. LOl. Is it you? Hahaha. Of cuz, there's a number that I know. I think it's the phone and my sim card.

Dunno whether it's something to boast about or not, OK, I'm nineteen. LOl.
I stil can rmb what juls said "you're 1 year old" =D

Had a wonderful and fun night yesterday at Siti's Chalet.

We or rather Siti's family bbq-ed while we sit, chat and eat, not forgetting they celebrated my birthday and taking polaroid photos and they each got to take one home. The prettier looking ones too. =)

Julia and her bf left around 7.30pm to catch Austria and left me, serene and Siti, and her family members. Still, we had fun playing UNO and I think siti can't stand my loud voice cuz she asked me to speak softly. LOl. Chalet lah, Siti.(ps. she won't see this. Lol.) I love playing with them. Wished I had spend the whole night with them, playing. But. Siti's eldest brother is bad lah. LOl. Come sabo me. Never play but helped his younger brother to attack his sister and me. LOl. Fun =D

Basically, we travelled to kaoshiung with an open mind that I can do some shopping at the biggest mall, Dreammall...
Dreams were dashed when the clothes sold are all winter clothings. Sad, but still OK, we get to save some money. Managed to eat a cup of mixed ice-cream in the mall's departmental store. I prefer Singapore ice-cream more. =)
Also, got a few snaps of me and the biggest shopping center. That's all I can remember at Kaoshiung.
Oh, and we still got 200g of cuttlefish which tasted yummy. LOl. We ate it back in our hotel while enjoying some shows. =X

From HuaLien, we set off to Kenting. Again, I can't remember the duration of the trip. 2-3 hours perhaps? Maybe less than that. LOl.

Then we'd to buy a ticket from behind the "7-eleven" store (There's a ticketing counter) to take a bus down to Kenting. It was another 1-2 hours ride.

The driver dropped us at the streets of Kenting and ta-da, there we got our expensive hotel amongst the other available hotel.1400yuan. well, I thought we could find the hotel ourselves but Chong thought that it was the cheapest already so he just paid for it. Well, service from that particular hotel isn't good. I still can remember the green sign board vividly in my mind. Then after putting our backpacks down, we went to walk down the streets where the night market wasn't opened yet. There, we saw hotel rooms going at the rate of 800 yuan, almost half of the price that we were conned. Seriously, I don't think that's the exact price that the woman is giving. She didn't give us a detailed price listing and on top of that, the place was just renovated. We were their only customers.
Why service bad? They didn't provide towels for us, reason being that "we'll give only when customers ask for it". Moreover, since there was no connection to them phone, I had to walk down the 4th(highest) floor down to tell them and then walk up again. Probably, you can just shout down next time if the phone isn't working. Unglam, but u can try if u dun mind the "unglamness". LOl.
And oh, Chong did not have a good night sleep because the people switched off the corridor lights just to save electricity.Saving electricity is not wrong but hello? Which sector are you in? Service right? He felt weird that he didn't have a good rest. But I still slept, unaware of the situation then. (next day)So in the morning when we went out for our beach walk, I purposely switched on the lights. Well, you will not encounter situations in the hotel that the corridors light will be switched off at night. Maybe only when there's a short circuit? LOl. Seriously, bad service. Period.
Btw, pictures can be found in my facebook. I'm not going to upload it cuz it's gonna be double entry.
HUnger surged and we managed to find a restaurant to eat. 70 is the place that was recommended by one of the stall owner selling small accessories. NOt fantastic but edible. =X Best part, when we came out of the restaurant, the night market was up, 7788.
I had my first shooting game played at Kenting and well, my shifu, chong, taught his disciple well. first time shot 8 out of 10 balls. 2nd, 3rd and 4th time, I got all the balloons bursting. =) hehehehe, and that's where I got my little toys. LOl. My pink turtle, green biting crocodile and chinese wordings die. Haha.
Also, it was my first innocent time eating chicken backside. I only knew that it was chicken backside after I swallowed the whole "meat".Yucks. Nauseated, we threw away the whole chunk of "meat".

The journey to HuaLien was long for all I can remember. Partly because the "huo che" was also travelling at a slow speed, slowler than a normal train. LOl.
When we reached our destination, we found out that there were no tour buses around to bring us around Hualien. Taxi were our only resort. We had a totally dirty taxi with the old uncle chewing on bettel nuts and I see his teeth so red and dirty like the taxi. Ok, bad impression. =(
Well, I didn't really like to be in dangerous place and the place in Hualien is v. dangerous. Why? there are rock mountatins and there are signs that we should be careful in case of falling stones. Moreover, it's a mountain which means there are deep openings and if u're scared of heights, please dun go. LOL. Overall, if there isn't gonna be falling stones, I would love it though I'm also afraid i might fall n die there. Got no balls in which is physically true. LOl. Existence of snakes are warned thru the signs and I really got no balls. LOl. I told chong not to go in and walk so we u-turned back.
Expensive journey cuz the taxi driver charged us 2500yuan which is equivalent to S$125 all the way to Hualien train station. N the best part is that the "min su" we're staying was a great distance away from where we alighted.
However, the min su was not bad with breakfast provided for us. the breakfast down the roads were simply delicious.

When both of us(chong and I) reached Taiwan, we were warmly welcomed by a 'tour guide' and he brought us along to eAT! It was no other than his fren just made in Singapore, James Lin. Food were all paid by him. =D
When I say James is a big eater, u know what that means. LOL. He brought us to particularly three places that I can't remember but liked the food very much. First we went to eat "lu rou" rice and some kinda soup with meat and bamboo shoots inside. The lu rou rice is superb!
After that, still not enough. He brought us to eat beef at a 100+ years old restaurant and it was the nicest that we've eaten. The meat was tender and not chewy at all. No strong beef taste. Yummy. =)
On the way, he bought for us some green dates (looks like green apple) and big oranges.
In between, he dropped us at the dunno what musuem in which I didn't quite like cuz I dun enjoy seeing cultural stuff. Moreover, the musuem was closing at 5pm which means that we had only 30 mins to walk around.
Mr Lin came to fetch us again and brought us to buy the "tai tie" tickets to Hualien. Following, cuz it's evening already, he brought us to a restaurant to eat steak made by one famous chef renowned to serve the world's richest man(am I right?). Initially, he ordered three thinking that we could eat alot. But after hearing that we were full, he said to pack one back and then James shared half of the well-done steak with me while chong had the steak all by himself. LOL. In between the talks, he thought that I was a medical student just because I mentioned about health and stuffs. Haha.
The whole day was an eating expedition day and the first meal was already filling for me and chong. Guilty strickened cuz I felt so full that I might put on weight. =X
Taiwan's sky turns black at 5plus pm in which I thought it was time to sleep!
we said our goodbyes went he sent us back to our hotel at CityInn. No picture was taken in between the food session cuz it wasn't like chong to take pictures and I felt I would look like a country bumpkin taking one. LOL.

2 days left ! =D

Leaving for taiwan in 3 days time. Darling is trying to extend the holiday to 20th december 2008 cuz he feels that the travelling time to and fro the country would take up lots of time (he thinks we'll little time for more). Tomorrow will be the verdict day as he mentioned. =)

Now, we're supposed to plan our itinary but he's playing his dynasty warriors while I just facebook-ed and is using blogger. LOL. He's just beside me.

Well, I'm gonna call him to stop!

The reports are submitted at last! =)

Chong left my home early to meet up with his fren but still, I'm tired so it's alright. LOL. Before he left, he still gave me my "nightly" massage on both my head and shoulder(for a few seconds). Maybe that caused the sleepiness.

Think I'm going to push backwards my schedule to pack my stuffs for the trip. =X

Feeling so exhausted after a whole (10 hours) in school. =(

Why are more buses getting in an accident nowadays?

When I was on the way home, I saw a bus rammed(it was there when I past by) a railing which caused the whole of Yishun cross junction traffic lights to malfunction. The bus looked sturdy but not the damaged railings. NO one was inside the bus by the time I was there and I think the driver managed to escape unscath.

Next, I went to TTSH to see my grandmother who was hospitalised because the bus braked hard that caused her to kneel both knees on the ground. She was sitting on the chair though( as said by her) and imagine the impact that she suffered. Poor Old Lady. Well, I wonder what kind of bus drivers are these people. I'm wondering if they're "cheap labours" ( if you can read in between the lines ). I wondered how they got their liscence from? Underhand? or Legally? Well, many cases of reckless drivers nowadays. I want to be blessed.

Moreover, on the traffic light to right turn after khatib station, the taxi driver in front of us didn't noticed that the arrow went green. So I thought to myself: If Chong isn't going "honk" him, well, I'm going to. Yet, when I placed my hand on the honk, chong was quicker to react than me. He was quick. LOL.

Had a wonderful dinner and drink at Manhattan & Eski Bar last night. LOL. Although those that come were all late, we still had an overall great night out!

I loved the food @ Manhattan in which I shared Seafood Platter for 2 with Derrick and to think that he paid for my share! The rice was succulent! Special. hahahaa. It was a treat for passing my driving! hahahaha. He was a generous guy paying for the drinks last night and I only spent $4.00 on the drinks and overall!! hahaha.

Other photos are still being held hostage by Sery and Yuting so I'm just waiting for them to upload... LOL...

Right now, I'm dreading that I've to do my reports to be submitted on Tuesday and to hell with next week! I'm gonna work full shift from Wednesday onwards. But that's my last week in which we'l be leaving MSC IM from then on... and lives will still continue to move on. =)

Makan at 老地方 with Lionel down Serangoon Road (Kitchener Road) yesterday. Had mixed curry rice and some other dishes. Then I asked him to ANYHOW drive and we drove to the CITY. Then we continued driving to Changi Airport, missed T3 and went to Budget Terminal which has nth much there. LOL. After that then we went to T3 to walk walk. Walk walk, talk talk. =)

Today, I just feel so tired. 9 hours of sleep is barely enough. There was the incessant banging of things in the kitchen, vacuuming and other contributaries that interupted my 8th hour sleep. Moreover, ytd job was damn tiring with only Sandra and I staying back to print barcode which was not completed previously.

Oh, I got a P-plate which was intended for me to drive but I just took it home. LOL. It is a gift for passing. LOL.
